With over 30 years of post-qualifying experience, Gwen brings real understanding of the complexities, the pressures and high points of practice. With her strong analytical and conceptual capabilities she is skilled at mentoring, positively challenging, and empowering people to make connections and gain insights into their practice and personal life. She enables people to reach their own solutions whilst ensuring safe practice.

Gwen enjoys working with people and is passionate about excellence in social work and improving its place in professional practice. She uses her social work insights when working with people in related fields of practice, particularly within a supervision context.  She has worked with a wide range of people, of different ethnicities, cultures, and social backgrounds. She celebrates the experiences and perspectives each person brings to any encounter.
